SOCIAL STUDIES

Social Studies is the course of study that allows each young man to enrich his worldview by understanding contemporary and historical events. It is our intention to inspire our boys to be informed citizens of the world by providing them with a thorough education in both U.S. and World History.

We have the four core classes of Social Studies: Global History 1 & 2, United States History, and Government/Economics. Each one of these courses is offered at both the Regents and Honors levels. African and African American Studies is available for students who would like a more comprehensive education on the subject. We also offer Advanced Placement United States History for students who want to earn college credits prior to starting their undergraduate studies in college.
